Depression Treatment
What Is Depression?
Depression is a mood disorder characterized by persistent feelings of sadness and a loss of interest in activities you once enjoyed. Also known as major depressive disorder or clinical depression, it can affect your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, often leading to both emotional and physical challenges.
Unlike temporary feelings of sadness, depression isn’t a sign of weakness, and it’s not something you can simply “snap out” of. It may require ongoing care, but there’s hope—many individuals experience significant improvement through medication, therapy, or a combination of both.
Symptoms of Depression
Depression can present in various emotional, physical, and behavioral symptoms. Common signs include:

If these symptoms persist or interfere with daily life, seeking professional support is a crucial step toward recovery.
